Number 4 is a par four with a very slight dogleg right measuring
313/303/232 yards. Off the tee there are two areas of
concern. The first and most noticeable is the very large
maple located on the left center of the fairway.
For those of you who tend to hit the fade may have an up close
and personable meeting with the behemoth. As
intimidating as the maple is from the teeing area, the
tendency might be to push the drive off the the right where
there is more trouble although not as much as in past years.
Years ago, if your drive went right, you might as well have
re-teed because you'd never find it. Over time though,
the area has been cleaned out considerably and now it's more
of an inconvenience than anything else.
Once you have successfully reached the green, be aware
breaks hard towards the water and the creek bed.
You can see in the photo above taken behind the green the tilt
from right to left. Also, there are two levels to this
green. Try to place your second shot on the appropriate
one. Nice hole!
